UNDERSTANDING YOUR MG WARRANTY
When you buy a new MG Motor branded vehicle (excluding IM vehicles), you’re backed with one of Australia’s leading warranties and service programs, designed to give you lasting confidence.
Standard Warranty Coverage:
New MG passenger vehicles come with a 7-year unlimited kilometre warranty as standard. For MG branded light commercial vehicles, a 5-year unlimited kilometre warranty applies.
Service Activated Extended Warranty
You can unlock up to 10 years or 250,000km (whichever comes first) of warranty coverage for MG passenger vehicles intended for personal use, and up to 7 years or 200,000km (whichever comes first) for MG light commercial vehicles intended for personal use by completing your scheduled services with an authorised MG Dealer.
If you exceed these kilometre limits during the period of your standard warranty, the extended warranty will not apply.
That means:
· You maintain your MG in peak condition using factory-trained technicians and MG Genuine Parts
· Your vehicle is supported by a comprehensive warranty for longer, at no extra cost
· You can drive with confidence knowing your MG is being looked after by the people who know it best
HOW TO QUALIFY
To activate the extended warranty period:
· All scheduled services must be completed within the MG Authorised Dealer Network
· Services must be carried out in line with the intervals outlined in the MG Warranty & Service Booklet
· Each service must be performed within the specified time or kilometre window

This Warranty applies to ‘MG Motor’ branded vehicles that are imported and distributed by MG Motor and that are first registered on or after 1st July 2025 (MG Motor Vehicles or Vehicles), except where otherwise stated (including as part of a promotional offer by MG Motor). MG Motor may vary this Warranty from time to time.
MG Motor warrants that, subject to the terms (including exclusions) of this Warranty, any new MG Motor Vehicle supplied by MG Motor or an MG Motor dealer will be free from manufacturing defects during normal use for the duration of this Warranty.
